CSDA has partnered with the online government surplus auction site, GovDeals.com, to provide special districts and other government agencies with a simple, transparent platform for buying and selling surplus items online.

GovDeals has a nationwide presence and thousands of items listed. CSDA members can browse through a wide selection of pre-owned vehicles, office furniture, tools and equipment, storage sheds, and much more.

GovDeals provides services to various government agencies that allow them to sell surplus and confiscated items via the Internet. Each participating agency has its own auction rules and regulations and may be subject to government ordinances.

Note: Prior to selling surplus land, agencies must ensure they have complied with all applicable laws, including the Surplus Land Act and reporting to the California Department of Housing and Community Development if necessary.
